I'm from California and love Mexican food so I can't resist corona with lime. I was introduced to soooo many new beers once I moved to the east coast though!
I also like hefeweizen style beers like blue moon.
What is your favorite beer?

A small but biggish brewery here called Big Rock has a delish summer beer right now called Rye & Ginger Ale...yum yum yum for a hot day!

@Mrs. Jacks It is so yummy--hope they keep it around beyond just this summer! With the ginger I could even convince myself that it is a great holiday drink

Right now I'm fully obsessed with Sommersby cider, and it's been sold out all over for weeks. I keep convincing DH to go out to dinner at a local pub just for the Sommersby on tap. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I love microbrews. My family in Ohio makes their own beer - I love visiting them! I like lagers best.

I used to drink ciders only. Then go to was bass for many years. Now I just get any IPA on tap.

Anything Big Rock Brewery, especially Grasshopper.
Big name brands? Bud Light Lime, and a good 'ol Coors Light. Of course....a different beer in Canada vs. the US....but still lower end, but amazing

Yuengling or Blue Moon! The base here imports them every once in a while. My neighbor had some Yuengling this weekend. YUM!
I also like Leinenkugel and Schlafly, which is a local brewery back home in St. Louis.

I like Blue Moon from the bottle, not tap! I love our microbrews here in Milwaukee, and I love Miller Lite

I love almost ANY IPA and most microbrews, but my absolute favorite is Lagunitas Little Sumpin Sumpin IPA. We love beer. We both really dislike wheat beers for some reason

I like Dos Equis, Corona, & Blue Moon best, but I like wine better unless it's a really hot day,

Right now I'm loving Shiner Ruby Red. It's the grapefruit ginger one @lydg mentioned. I also love Bud Light and Bud Light Lime.

I love me a good, bitter IPA. My favorite is probably Dogfish Head 90 minutes. I also love pretty much anything from Troegs.

@lydg: OMG, LOVE Ruby Redbird. I definitely drank more than a couple yesterday

@meaganceleste I told my husband to ask the guy at the beer store last weekend how much longer they'll carry it for and he said about 6 weeks...I'm due in 5-7...so I figure if he buys in a few weeks and we stash in the fridge I can have a couple after baby!!! Ahhh!

I can't have most beer because of the wheat (I have celiac) but I love cider beer - it's naturally gluten free!

@LivsMama: that's probably my favorite too. It's probably the best balanced IPA out there.
I love beer- I live in Chicago so we are spoiled with a ton of great local microbreweries. I love anything by Half Acre, Two Brothers, Metropolis, or 3 Floyd's.

I like Bloody Hoes...Hoegaarden and Lindeman's Framboise!
clementine / 916 posts
I really like a lot of the microbrews we have here on the East Coast. Anything by Smuttynose is always a favorite.
@LivsMama: I'm not a fan of wheat beers lately either. Used to love them in college... but now not so much.

@dookie32: We are so ridiculously spoiled! It's one of the best parts of living in Chicago

@candybar: Totally. I've heard that Revolution Brewing is starting to bottle their beers also. I think I saw they will start hitting stores in late July. I'm in the burbs now so I'm hoping they will make it out to our local Binny's.

@lydg-don't know the beer you mentioned but have your DH ask the beer store guy to leave some warm for you to pick up. My DH does that often with specialty/seasonal beers that he wants to keep for longer than fridge space will allow (especially since he had to put his beer fridge into storage when we put our house on the market).
I don't really have a favorite although I have types I don't like, not a fan of IPA (too hoppy/bitter and stouts). DH brews his own and I've liked most of those so far.

Micelob Ultra (and they have a peach dragonfruit beer that is great on a hot day), Busch Light (cheap Midwest beer), and I'll have the occasional Blue Moon or Woodchuck.
GOLD / papaya / 10166 posts
@lydg: Oooooh I didn't know they made that. Sounds wonderful - I'm going to have to try that.!
My go to beer is usually Dos Equis
