DW takes great care of our LO and works hard to make me get enough sleep to function during the day. I do feel guilty when I wake and here LO crying and DW working late in the night to comfort. I do my best to get up and spend time with the both of them because I know it's a very hard thing to do, things like help changing the diaper or getting DW a glass of water or a burp cloth.

I didn't know the notion or a term existed such as "daddy guilt". So not at all, but the work guilt totally resonates. Pre-child, I always secretly resented my coworkers who were new fathers as they "coasted" a few months after their baby arrived. But ironically I'm in that position where I'm still in a zombie state and at a fraction of prior productivity levels.

No guilt here. DW is overly organized and even on a stroller trip around the block plans for every scenario necessary.

Overall dw is a very good planner and I am good at other things so I guess we follow the divide and conquer method...

I blogged a while ago about how I rarely ever feel daddy guilt:
http://www.hellobee.com/2012/02/16/daddy-guilt/

I actually feel "work guilt" much more often... which actually does make me feel guilty. Because it reminds me that I'm capable of feeling guilt, but I just don't feel guilty very often in my role as a dad.

I was wondering if it's just me, or if anyone else doesn't get daddy guilt very often?
