Hellobee Dads

I ended up starting a SAHDs group here in SLC. Though I do not work from home anymore, I still manage the email list for it. There is still a group of 3 to 4 of us that tend to get together weekly or so. Of course there are also like 8 kids near us that are all the same age as little jacks, so that helps!

To tell you the truth, they mostly found me. I started a blog about being a stay at home dad in SLC when we moved here and with in 2 months 2 people emailed me wondering if there was a local group. There was nothing that I had found so I suggested that we start one. So we met up (I also dragged our next door neighbor who is a stay at home dad as well), and it turned out that the first 4 members all had kids within 3 months of each other.

Since then I have been contacted by at least 20 others who wanted to join up. Most of the other we only do dads nights out with since most of them are further away, but they started their own satelite groups since joining my email list.

Lol, I do what I can, but it kind of fell into my lap!
