@Mr. Coco Bee: Oh neat, I didn't know his full name was Jacobi!
Joe Jacoby was one of my favorite linemen growing up... he played for the Redskins back when I was growing up in the DC area! Spelling's a bit different though...
Cool name!

@MrOceanis: Your family is just like mine! Except umm, you have an extra 3 year old and an extra 4 year old. Not sure you how you swing it, but color me impressed!

@mrbee: Thanks! Yeah we like it, it's different but not too different. Funny you didn't know that, my wife is always posting pictures from the video monitor and his name is on the top of them all

@Mr. Coco Bee: I am not that observant... just ask my wife.

@Mr. Jacks: How is it with the year and 9 months difference between your kids? Any challenges? Perks? Not sure when we are going to try for another. Probably going to play it by ear.
@MrOceanis: Wow 3 boys then a girl sounds like fun. Some nice older brothers to ward off any suitors. How different was it having all boys then one girl?

They are actually 21 months apart from each other. It is a bit painful but jack jack is six months and has gotten with the program so well that it seems easy at times. There are definitely times where we are like "what the hell were we thinking". But the girls are already bonded to each other. And with Mrs. Jacks being the researcher that she is, one thing that kept popping out was that siblings that are have an age gap less than 2 years tend to have a lot stronger relationship with each other then they would otherwise. So that played into our decision in having them so close. The other factor was to get the painful part of having toddlers over and done with in one short stint rather than dragging it out over several years.
But over all it is not that bad. Little Jacks has had some rough spells but now, more often than not, she does her best to help out with every day chores. She knows we need her help with the little things and she works hard to help out!
I know it was a bit long winded but it is well worth it to see Little Jacks at this age interacting with her little sister!

@mr coco bee: It seems that our little girl has been a lot easier. I don't know if it's because she came after the twins or if she just has a nice easy going personality or maybe that's just how baby girls are. Don't get me wrong the boys were all good but they threw food off their high chairs and generally were a woorlwind of destruction going from toy to toy leaving a huge mess behind. The little girl will just sit and play with the same toy for 30 minutes or more!
